I love photography so much that I have been able to make it a job…lucky. I’m very blessed and lucky. However…there are many days after taking photos all day long that once I sit that camera on the shelf in my studio, I don’t wanna touch it anymore. I just wanna run upstairs and love on my three little girls. Then once I get upstairs I look at them and smile and notice something that has changed about them. A new freckle, a new curl, tooth or word…they are changing before my eyes and by the minute. So then I think, I need to take a picture of them! I don’t want to forget this! and so the cycle begins….

I’m a firm believer that if you stay at home or work or do both, you will always find something as a parent that you don’t feel you do right or that you should/could do better.
So this morning when the big girls and the puppies were sleeping at 6:17 am, Solana woke! I went in and pulled her out of the crib, made coffee and of course in that 2 minutes she managed to put both feet in the dogs water bowl. I sat down on the sofa with her and pulled off the wet pj’s and changed her diaper. Then when she sat up I thought…oh my goodness…! look how long she is!! So I ran and grabbed a camera and just followed her around the house for 20 minutes. Love it…love this time! I just wanna soak it all up and never forget.

So here she is. 14 months in all her naked and much loved naked freedom
