This family has been with me sooo long that I photographed the “big Sister” here when she was in the belly!! That is so hard to believe! Now she comes in and we talk like two adults. Of course…it’s about the potty, toys and snacks. ect. All the important things in her life

So my fav photog friend ever, Alicia Price gave me the idea to use our iphone and take crappy pics of nothing all day long and then blog about it! ha! It may sound odd but for a photographer who pushes to always take a “great” photo…sometimes it’s fun to just not care and be creative! So, here is my day today with random iphone pics!!

Three weeks ago was the first cheer comp of the season for my girls…yes girlS. I have two little cheerleaders this year! Mahala is year 4 now and Coco year 1! Mahala scares me with the stuff she does…I’m aging at each practice I’m sure.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY! Virginia, DC, Maryland Children’s Photographer

Let’s see…I did my shopping this am and since then I have cleaned house, packaged some orders, changed 5 diapers, feed 2 cats and 1 dog, spot shot what I can only believe is maple syrup off my sofa…and even managed to edit a session! All this just to delay cooking a bit longer! Yes! I’m cooking this year. The first time ever. You don’t understand how big that is until I tell you that I have cooked pizza with the cardboard on the bottom! If my family decided to drive through Wendy’s first…I won’t be offended. So! I thought a blog post was the last thing I could do to put off cooking for another hour :)HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a very fun session! It’s a friend of mine and of course… I wanted to try something new that most clients may not be up for! She was a trooper…she dealt with bugs, dirt, grass and a LOT of sweating in the august heat!! CONGRATS B!!!!!

Home Birth Photography: Virginia Maryland Washington DC photographer

I was so excited to finally photograph a home birth!!! It was very very VERY neat to see…I had all my girls in the hospital. Everyone always says you don’t remember and well, you kinda don’t! It’s just fuzzy. That’s why I love photographing births. It brings back those wonderful memories of when my girls were born… and wow!!! M made it look like a walk in the park. I’m still shocked at how fast and easy she brought another beautiful baby boy into this world. Here are a few of my favs
